Rocks and silt washed down from road damage above

The potholes and tarmac that has washed away further up the road, and blocked the drains has collected on this level section causing an uneven surface. Particularly dangerous for bicycles and horses.

  • The issue you reported has been assessed and the necessary work will be included in our programme of upcoming maintenance.

    Our priority is to be effective at responding to the most serious problems so at this time we are unable to provide an exact timescale.

    In the meantime until these works can be undertaken, we will continue to undertake routine inspections, whereby notifiable issues are recorded and scheduled for action.
