2foot deep ditch on corner of road

A ditch has been dug around the corner of the road at a crossroads junction. The ditch is at least 2 foot deep and goes around the corner..!! There are no street lights in this area. Anyone turning into the lane will be in danger of driving into the ditch..!! It’s been marked with some cones. Same on opposite side. It’s an accident waiting to happen..!!
