Deep pot holes and terrible road surface

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14172717.

Various potholes, some very deep, make driving to our property extremely hazardous. The property cannot be accessed with a normal vehicle - the road is undrivable, with large and extensive pot holes and uneven road surface - dangerous to drive. Furthermore it is being cited by potential tenants as THE reason for not taking a tenancy. It is affecting my income.

  • The issue you reported has been assessed and the necessary work will be included in our programme of upcoming maintenance.

    Our priority is to be effective at responding to the most serious problems so at this time we are unable to provide an exact timescale.

    In the meantime until these works can be undertaken, we will continue to undertake routine inspections, whereby notifiable issues are recorded and scheduled for action.
