Storm drain completely blocked, water flooding on driveway.

This grated storm drain is completely blocked, when we have heavy rain its floods in off the road and floods the driveway, rather than going down the drain as it is blocked with debris. This issue has been there for 12 months plus but never reported. Just off the road in front of 46-50 Hospital Street.

  • The issue you reported has been assessed and the necessary work will be included in our programme of upcoming maintenance.

    Our priority is to be effective at responding to the most serious problems so at this time we are unable to provide an exact timescale.

    In the meantime until these works can be undertaken, we will continue to undertake routine inspections, whereby notifiable issues are recorded and scheduled for action.
