Light is causing building & security ssues

I reported this not working in May 24, was advised it was on a list of works to be completed. Its disappeared off fix my street.

This is now causing me as the building owner security and building issues. Youths have been swinging on it and are able to look through the first floor window of my property. This in turn is putting my security at risk and also is putting undue stress on my brickwork. If this doesn't get resolved I will have no further issue on withholding council tax. This area is horrendous for anti social behaviour and I won't tolerate my security & privacy being breached, or damage to my building for a light that hasn't worked in over 2 yrs at amt point (neighbour confirmed) The light is extremely bulky so needs replacing with modern equipment or will pull part of my building down. I am sorry, but this delay and damage is no longer acceptable to me in my own home. Please advise...

  • The issue you reported has been assessed and the necessary work will be included in our programme of upcoming maintenance.

    Our priority is to be effective at responding to the most serious problems so at this time we are unable to provide an exact timescale.

    In the meantime until these works can be undertaken, we will continue to undertake routine inspections, whereby notifiable issues are recorded and scheduled for action.
