Several potholes and road surface breaking up

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14172042.

There are several potholes in the road and the road surface at the road junction is breaking up on quite a large area. It as been like this for 6 months plus.

  • We have begun work on site but work had to be suspended. We will attend site again as soon as possible. We are unable to give you a timescale for this work but we will update you when action has been taken.

  • Some of the potholes have been filled but the road surface in the area of the junction is still breaking up badly and requires remedial work.

  • The issue you reported has been assessed and the necessary work will be included in our programme of upcoming maintenance.

    Our priority is to be effective at responding to the most serious problems so at this time we are unable to provide an exact timescale.

    In the meantime until these works can be undertaken, we will continue to undertake routine inspections, whereby notifiable issues are recorded and scheduled for action.
