180 by 45 cm pothole which is 10 cms deep

Reported via desktop in the Carriageway pothole category by Neil Gibson at 19:36, Thursday 27 February 2025

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14171377.

This one of many potholes that are re-appearing again on the stretch of Romsley Lane between the Tudor House Drive and Hammerhill Farmhouse Drive. The road surface from the Hammerhill Farmhouse to Windy Ridge also requires to be resurfaced to ensure that it is not smooth. During icy periods this stretch of the lane is like an Ice Rink. I reported this on this website in the last month or so, and can see no evidence of this report when I looked this evening.

  • In the last few days I have noticed "White Lines" around some of the potholes on Romsley Lane, but NOT around the major pothole which I reported by the entrance to the Tudor House drive on 27/2/25. I sincerely hope that you will be filling in this major pothole as well as the other more minor ones which have been highlighted on the lane.
