Problem of stream overflowing probably solved

Reported via desktop in the Watercourse category anonymously at 15:13, Tuesday 25 February 2025

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14171070.

With reference to yesterday's reports when the stream at Bushmoor overflowed causing a major flooding problem. A neighbour's gardener discovered that the gulley which takes the stream under the road was blocked by broken paving slabs which had presumably been washed down the stream in the torrential rain. Paving slabs have been put against the bank to line it higher up the stream and possibly came from there. However, the water and mud washing down from the top of the hill remain a big problem.
