Numerous potholes (craters) along Ollerton lane
Reported via mobile in the Carriageway surface problem category anonymously at 00:07, Tuesday 18 February 2025
Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14170216.
Despite the reporting of numerous individual potholes with photos nothing is being done to improve the Ollerton lane and the road continues to degrade. There are literally no places for 2 cars to pass let alone the numerous hgvs that now use this lane for access to the business park. Why are highways continuing to ignore these issues which are a major problem and will only continue to get worse. It is evident that this lane cannot cope with the volume of large vehicles and this was recently apparent when a lorry took down a telegraph pole. Why is this lane increasingly being ignored for repairs and improvements? It’s currently dangerous for all road users.
