Lack of white lines on road

Reported via mobile in the Markings missing/ defective category anonymously at 17:50, Thu 13 February 2025

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14169816.

The lack of white lines on this section of the road is making is increasingly dangerous. I live at Threshing Barn and when turning into the property, it is first of all difficult to tell where you are in the road but also encouraging other road users to overtake in this section which makes both pulling in and out extremely difficult. There have been several near misses, something the council are already aware of but this has been exacerbating issues. The road was resurfaced between 6 and 12 months ago and we feel that for it to have been left for as long as it has without the white lines being reinstated is not acceptable.
