Barely a road

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14169628.

This stretch of road has been patched up so badly over the years, it's caused more problems than just resurfacing the whole stretch. It's also being used as a diversion route for six weeks whilst unnecessary "bridge" repairs are being made in Hindford - for a bridge that isn't event a bridge. Just get it fixed.

  • The issue you reported has been assessed and the necessary work will be included in our programme of upcoming maintenance.

    Our priority is to be effective at responding to the most serious problems so at this time we are unable to provide an exact timescale.

    In the meantime until these works can be undertaken, we will continue to undertake routine inspections, whereby notifiable issues are recorded and scheduled for action.
