Road surface issue

Reported via mobile in the Carriageway surface problem category anonymously at 01:39, Wednesday 5 February 2025

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14168815.

A4169 in both directions from Shifnal towards Halesfield until it meets a more recently surfaced part of the hem is in a dangerous condition. Multiple surface defects/potholes causing drivers to stray from there side of the road and a recently filled large pothole just after shaw lane is now a lump. Lines are missing and cats eyes defective. I have lived in shifnal since 2021 and drive daily to Sutton hill for work and the road has always been in this poor state. It needs to be addressed before a serious accident happens. This is a busy A road which commuters use daily and concerns have been raised by multiple Shifnal residents.
