Very deep pothole in road. Difficult to avoid and see as full of water

Very deep pothole in road. Difficult to avoid and to see as it was full of water. Burst my near side front tyre and possibility of further damage. I see from the map, this has been reported previously.

  • The issue you reported has been assessed and the necessary work will be included in our programme of upcoming maintenance.

    Our priority is to be effective at responding to the most serious problems so at this time we are unable to provide an exact timescale.

    In the meantime until these works can be undertaken, we will continue to undertake routine inspections, whereby notifiable issues are recorded and scheduled for action.
