Large jagged potholes have reappeared

Unfortunately the earlier patching of these large jagged potholes has failed to resolve the underlying problem and they have reappeared. A more permanent solution is urgently required as these are very dangerous and will damage vehicles.

    The potholes previously reported 4 weeks ago have got a lot worse and now are so deep and wide that small cars can barely get past without scraping the road surface. We were grateful for the patching on this stretch of lane last year, but unfortunately it did not address the underlying structural issues that exist. We now require urgent action to address this and provide a more long term solution. Our neighbour had a Medical emergency earlier this week and the first ambulance was unable to access his house because of the slippery bend caused by the blocked drain below and the potholes at Short Cross above us. Many thanks for your help with this.

  • Further call to report issue. Caller states drains are blocked which leads to standing water, worsening carriageway surface issue. After rainfall potholes cant been seen my motorists making issue more dangerous
