Road drain collapsing

The road around this drain has been breaking up for some time. We are concerned that a significant hole has appeared recently and water can be seen through the road surface. Likely drain grating will collapse.

  • The issue you reported has been assessed and the necessary work will be included in our programme of upcoming maintenance.

    Our priority is to be effective at responding to the most serious problems so at this time we are unable to provide an exact timescale.

    In the meantime until these works can be undertaken, we will continue to undertake routine inspections, whereby notifiable issues are recorded and scheduled for action.
