Offensive graffiti, vomit, dog poo

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14167613.

Offensive graffiti on the fence done by someone in the alley between Allerton Rd/Featherbed Lane, this is not acceptable, adults and children walk here, needs removing urgently. Vomit and dog poo on the floor, needs cleaning asap, a health hazard, children will walk this into school.

  • The issue you reported has been assessed and the necessary work will be included in our programme of upcoming maintenance.

    Our priority is to be effective at responding to the most serious problems so at this time we are unable to provide an exact timescale.

    In the meantime until these works can be undertaken, we will continue to undertake routine inspections, whereby notifiable issues are recorded and scheduled for action.

  • This has not been completed, a few words have been selectively painted over. This morning I heard a child ask what does that say 'f....' it's not new words, it's simply been left! You haven't fixed the problem you've made it worse, it now looks awful and for some reason about 5 words were selected and others left - when will this be REMOVED, not painted over?

  • This is not acceptable. You stated the work has been completed, it has not. Further graffiti - obscuring some words with white paint is not 'completed'

    Please explain what your 'investigation' is and why 'no further action is required'.
