General deterioration of road surface.

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14167049.

The road between Parkstyle Junction and Cottage Farm(?) Junction is once more gravely deteriorated. Between deep potholes on the running surface of the road and severe erosion of the edges it is in danger of becoming impassible to anything but farm vehicles and large four-by-fours. There are at least two places I cannot negotiate at even the slowest pace without grounding my vehicle.

  • The issue you reported has been assessed and the necessary work will be included in our programme of upcoming maintenance.

    Our priority is to be effective at responding to the most serious problems so at this time we are unable to provide an exact timescale.

    In the meantime until these works can be undertaken, we will continue to undertake routine inspections, whereby notifiable issues are recorded and scheduled for action.
