Huge pot hole that’s been reported 11 times and still not fixed

Huge pot hole on the island that caused my tyre tyre to burst yesterday, when having a new tyre fitted the garage said that they have atleast one car coming in every week that’s hit the same pot hole. Looking on fix my street it been reported 11 times and even as far back as May 2024. Is there any point in reporting dangerous road surfaces or pot holes anymore as nothing gets done.
