Continuous flooding outside our property, and causing wilful damage to our drive

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14164408.

I live at The Firs, Twmpath Lane. The road has been flooded since before Christmas. I also work at the Robert Jones Hospital and this morning I had to negotiate the plentiful amount of water. I know this has been reported by the hospital many times. The bus stop this morning caused problems with passengers, coming on and off the bus. It is a legal requirement for people to be safe.

  • The issue you reported has been assessed and the necessary work will be included in our programme of upcoming maintenance.

    Our priority is to be effective at responding to the most serious problems so at this time we are unable to provide an exact timescale.

    In the meantime until these works can be undertaken, we will continue to undertake routine inspections, whereby notifiable issues are recorded and scheduled for action.
