Damaged signs

Reported via desktop in the Non-illuminated sign missing/ defective category anonymously at 12:17, Mon 23 December 2024

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14163865.

There has been a rta on 22/12/24 on the bend. signs are damaged and or missing 3rd accident on bend this year requiring the road to be closed to remove cars. this is a very seroius issue with high probability of further accidents on bend if signs are not replaced

  • The issue you reported has been assessed and the necessary work will be included in our programme of upcoming maintenance.

    Our priority is to be effective at responding to the most serious problems so at this time we are unable to provide an exact timescale.

    In the meantime until these works can be undertaken, we will continue to undertake routine inspections, whereby notifiable issues are recorded and scheduled for action.
