  • Your records will show we reported this blocked culvert problem some time ago and waiting for it to be rectified, spending a considerable amount of money trying to clear ourselves. The contractor stating the problem was in the culvert . We are now dreading any further rainfall over the Christmas period and risk of flooding into our kitchen Could you please urgently attend to this matter or supply sand bags to try and divert the water away from our back and front doors. Thank you

  • We first reported this problem about the culvert in October and it is still blocked. Your drainage team failed to clear and said that a digger team would come to clear it. Can you tell us what is happening and when will the culvert will be cleared? Heavy rain is forecast and we will subject to more disrupted flooding . Thank you any information

  • We’d like to thank all the lads from the Highway's depot, Longden Road for their persistence in clearing our blocked culvert pipe. Especially in sub-zero temperatures and thick mud! A very very special thanks to Gerald who took us under his wing and reassured that all would be well in the end. We’d also like to thank Andy Oliver who orchestrated the whole thing.
