Pathway from Abbey Lodge to junction with B4380 needs clearing
Reported via mobile in the Other Street Cleaning category anonymously at 07:34, Sat 7 December 2024
Sent to Shropshire Council 2 minutes later. Council ref: 14162135.
With the roadworks in place the only pedestrian route is on the west side of much Wenlock road. The pathway is so overgrown with grass and mud that the walker is forced very close to the road and vehicles travel at speed. It is impossible to walk two abreast and passage with a pram, for wheelchair users and dog walkers is very difficult if not impossible. The mud and grass overgrowth needs clearance back to the verge.

Can you please clarify why the overgrown grass and busshes encroaching on the pavement from the grass verge is not considered in need of action. Coupled with the dirt and state of the pavement. Whilst this may be due replacement under the current contract works there is still an expectation that the pavement is maintained and services in a usable manner. How is this escalated for review.
