Unable to access private drive due to parked cars along Malt House Lane

Malthouse Lane is not wide enough to accommodate parked traffic and vehicular movements. Customers of the Mytton and Mermaid who can not park in the two full car parks are parking in Malthouse Lane. As a result of this we can not enter or exit our drive way in Safety. An Emergency vehicle if called would not be able to access the Village.

  • The issue you reported has been assessed and the necessary work will be included in our programme of upcoming maintenance.

    Our priority is to be effective at responding to the most serious problems so at this time we are unable to provide an exact timescale.

    In the meantime until these works can be undertaken, we will continue to undertake routine inspections, whereby notifiable issues are recorded and scheduled for action.
