Water running off road into house

This is only the second time in over 40 years at the property that this has happened. The stream above the house that is directed under the road above my property floods the road because the underground drain can't cope. This water floods the road . Running down hill into the top drive of bridge cottage. Once on this drive it flows down hill finding its way into the house.
