Parked Cars Restricting Access along Malthouse Lane

Malthouse Lane is not wide enough to accommodate parked cars and vehicular Traffic. Customers of the Mytton and Mermaid who can't park in the two full car parks are parking on Malthouse Lanes. As a result of this we can't enter or leave our driveway in safety. Emergency vehicles would not be able to access the Village in the event of an incident.

  • The issue you reported has been assessed and the necessary work will be included in our programme of upcoming maintenance.

    Our priority is to be effective at responding to the most serious problems so at this time we are unable to provide an exact timescale.

    In the meantime until these works can be undertaken, we will continue to undertake routine inspections, whereby notifiable issues are recorded and scheduled for action.
