Sign not replaced following work

The double sign for Coronation Street amd the finger sign for Rhea Hall Estate are missing - as you can see from the current photo (taken at night sorry) It may have been when the new funeral parlour was being renovated Perry & Phillips or at another time. Please restore these signs to their original position as they are required for many delivery drivers/emergency services and are a part of the local tourism - thanks

  • Please can you let me know what the outcome for this missing street sign is? I have contacted Perry & Phillips Funeral directors who carried out the property refurbishment but have not received any response from them either. Street sign needs rerplacing if not found. Thanks

  • On 29/11/24 I was advised you would be "in touch with an update soon" I also enquired about this update on 13/2/2025 but have still not received a response from FMS or Streetworks team... Please email me at clerk@highleyparish.co.uk ASAP

  • We have spoken with Andrew Keyland and he is ordering a sign but we have not heard anything back in some months. Please chase this up with the relevent department

  • Could you please update on where the replacement sign is as this is rather favourable with tourists to the village obviously - and has been missing since the refurbishment on Cowley House. See previous comments.

  • The issue you reported has been assessed and the necessary work will be included in our programme of upcoming maintenance.

    Our priority is to be effective at responding to the most serious problems so at this time we are unable to provide an exact timescale.

    In the meantime until these works can be undertaken, we will continue to undertake routine inspections, whereby notifiable issues are recorded and scheduled for action.

  • I have noticed that there have been replacement signs issued at BAKEHOUSE LANE in Chelmarsh when that sign was only in poor condition. The missing sign for CORONATION STREET is still very much outstanding.
