Deep holes in passing place

The passing place on the west side of the carriageway has become severely eroded with very deep rutted holes which need to be filled with gravel ASAP.

    You came out to fix this issue but it has not be resolved. The issue was still present when this was marked as fixed, the quality of the work was not sufficient.

    There are still large deep holes in the passing place. Further work is required to resolve this issue.

  • The issue you reported has been assessed and the necessary work will be included in our programme of upcoming maintenance.

    Our priority is to be effective at responding to the most serious problems so at this time we are unable to provide an exact timescale.

    In the meantime until these works can be undertaken, we will continue to undertake routine inspections, whereby notifiable issues are recorded and scheduled for action.
