Blocked drains, flooded road and now my garage

Hi, I reported this problem on the 23/10/24, this has not been resolved, the water from the road is now getting in my garage , the drains in the road are blocked . The road if flooded and the excess water is flooding my garden

  • I would like to say how impressed I was with the team that were sent out today. Jonathan kept me informed and updated of the work carried out and the issues that were found. The whole team worked very hard and were exceedingly thorough. Although the problem has not been solved, it has been identified, it seems that there is a highway water drainage system in place, but it has failed either due to a blockage or a collapsed road drain in the verge, further down the road, hence the flooding out side of my house. Without the endeavours and thoroughness of the team today, I don’t believe the problem would have been identified. This issue has been an ongoing problem for many months, and caused me a lot of worry and stress every time there is a rainstorm, with the flooding of my property, not to mention the mud and debris running down my drive from the road. I would like to say “Thank you” to the highways department for the further investigation work carried authorised today, and I look forward to having the issue resolved in the near future.
