Flooding due to dam being built

Driving to Wem from Lee Brockhurst the road was flooded with run off water from melting snow. The water usually ran off into the field of the farm. However a dam has been built across the gate causing the water to be held in the lane as drain gullies also get filled with silt from the fields. The impact is such that flood water comes up the road and causes flooding to St Peters Place This has only happened since the dam has been in place.
