Damaged chevron warning sign

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14160907.

Missing fluorescent chevron signs following a fatal road traffic accident. No attempt to repair since the incident more than 3 months ago. This us a known traffic accident location due to blind bend and steep road. Too dangerous to photograph

  • This signage is a hazard. In high winds the broken pieces move into the road causing traffic to drive on the wrong side of the road on a blind bend. The sign is now half it's original size and ineffective. It is the sight of a fatal rtc. Please can this be repaired urgently

  • This repair really needs to be taken seriously. We now have freezing conditions in this area with thick fog. Only last week we had a car misjudge the bend and end up in the ditch at the bottom of the slope. It is only a matter of time before there is another serious, potentially fatal accident here
