Massive flood melt and rain has overwhelmed culverted brook to rear of Brookside and caused road wall to collapse. This needs to be repaired asap and assessment of catchment undertaken to prevent future flooding via slowing the flow

  • The issue you reported has been assessed and the necessary work will be included in our programme of upcoming maintenance.

    Our priority is to be effective at responding to the most serious problems so at this time we are unable to provide an exact timescale.

    In the meantime until these works can be undertaken, we will continue to undertake routine inspections, whereby notifiable issues are recorded and scheduled for action.
