Overgrown Verge

For as long as I can recall (10+ years) you have never maintained your verge at this location. Why can't you at least strim it when you do do the grass on the road island and at the entrance to Longford Turning. This makes the outlook for my neighbours very bad and makes the area look shabby. I really cant see why you don't do something. Strimming is not going to affect the wall.

  • The issue you reported has been assessed and the necessary work will be included in our programme of upcoming maintenance.

    Our priority is to be effective at responding to the most serious problems so at this time we are unable to provide an exact timescale.

    In the meantime until these works can be undertaken, we will continue to undertake routine inspections, whereby notifiable issues are recorded and scheduled for action.

  • Nothing has been done to this verge despite operatives walking past it to carry out other works.

  • May 24th 2025, despite other works very close to the verge in question, no work has been done. If you are not prepared to do it just tell me.
