Whole section of road has deteriorated substantially

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14160395.

The lane is nearly impassable for cars..the front of car hits the uneven surface as deterioration is so bad numerous potholes and deeply uneven surface. There is no effective drainage causing road and edges to erode. This has been like this for a year but it worsening and is now damaging my car. Something needs to be done

  • The issue you reported has been assessed and the necessary work will be included in our programme of upcoming maintenance.

    Our priority is to be effective at responding to the most serious problems so at this time we are unable to provide an exact timescale.

    In the meantime until these works can be undertaken, we will continue to undertake routine inspections, whereby notifiable issues are recorded and scheduled for action.
