There are several rocks on the verge, right on the edge of the road, which I believe is illegal under The Highways Act 1980. The road is very narrow, which adds to the danger.

The rocks are very hard to see when it is dark and drizzling, as it was this evening, meaning I hit one to avoid an oncoming car that didn't move over and blew out my tire.
