Damn has been built across entrance to field

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14158935.

I am aware that you know the issues with this area. 2 weeks ago the lane was shin deep in water. Going to Wem today i noted that a damn has been built across the gateway prevent flooding. No doubt this will increase the amount of floodwater that will now be flowing into the lane which will put more flood risk to the properties along church lane. 2 weeks ago we had to put sandbags out across St Peters Place to prevent flooding the properties - this diverts the water to the church corner and into our gardens - this time the water came upto our back door. Another resident at Lee Brockhurst is concerned that the footings to an electricity pylon are dangerously eroded due to the whirlpool of water that comes from the fields. As drains have only recently been emptied - it is a concern that they will not cope with the inevitable extra water now that the damn has been built - as they did not drain the water away 2 weeks ago. I would appreciate your feedvack or investigation
