A drain under the road / verge has burst

This happened in the heavy rain yesterday. There is a drain which carries the water flowing down Oakley MYnd from and open stream down to a stream at the bottom. It has burst open and all the water is flowing down the road and is rapidly destroying the road.

  • You came and saw the problem just after I had reported it and your team then confirmed it was a broken drain pipe but could not repair it while there was so much water coming down. The flow of water has now reduced significantly although it is still bubbling out on the road and it is probably possible to repair now - and would be good to do soon before the hole in the road gets bigger or we have another downpour
