Water pouring out of manhole onto the road

If you look at the picture there is an issue with whatever is beneath this manhole as water is pouring out at such pressure that it is lifting the manhole. It also is also damaging the surface of the pavement creating a trip hazard

  • The issue you reported has been assessed and the necessary work will be included in our programme of upcoming maintenance.

    Our priority is to be effective at responding to the most serious problems so at this time we are unable to provide an exact timescale.

    In the meantime until these works can be undertaken, we will continue to undertake routine inspections, whereby notifiable issues are recorded and scheduled for action.
