Overgrown planting on council owned land

Reported via mobile in the Overgrown Trees/Hedges category by Sam Mason at 10:35, Mon 14 October 2024

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14157366.

Have spoken to Morisons who own the land adjacent to the McDonalds restaurant in Oswestry and they’ve informed me that the land next to the store (the other side of the perimeter fence) is owned by Shropshire Council.

The trees and shrubbery are over growing, and not only pose a pest threat to my restaurant, but is also meaning that the store and its advertising boardings aren’t as visible as they could be

My supervisor has asked me to inform you as he does not want my gardening contractors to complete the work

  • I haven’t had any feedback to this issue. Has the potential to be a great spot for pests
