Continuing flooding on Bank Drive West

Reported via desktop in the Standing water on the highway category by Cllr Chris Lemon at 09:03, Thursday 10 October 2024

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14157128.

Good morning, the attached photos illustrate the latest episode of flooding on Bank Drive West, this time on Tuesday the 8th of October 2024 and as ever engulfing the entire carriageway, making it impossible for most of the residents of the cul de sac to access their homes or Bank Farm Road in any way other than in a road vehicle. With no update apparently available on the plans to improve Bank Farm Road and hopefully address the flooding problem here, as was highlighted by both residents and Councillors at the consultation event earlier this year, a site visit by representatives of Shropshire Council's Highways Department, attended by residents affected and Radbrook Councillors would be very much appreciated. The Shropshire Council and Shrewsbury Town Council Councillors can be contacted via their respective email addresses.
