Large pothole / no road surface always covered by water

Reported via mobile in the Carriageway pothole category anonymously at 17:24, Thu 3 October 2024

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14156653.

There are multiple pot holes in one spot here but they are always covered by standing water. This has been here a very long time but if you don’t know the road and go through it in a car you are in trouble. This road is used as a regular commute for ABP wagons. The other day a HGV went through it spraying rocks and road debris at my car and the veichle itself nearly went over on its side. It is VERY dangerous. Someone did put bollards there so people couldn’t drive through it as some people think it’s just a bug puddle but they have just been knocked down now.

  • When will this be looked at please? There has been no change since I submitted this in October. A tree has fallen opposite which is pushing people into the pothole/puddle and leaving debris, stones and chunks of tarmac on the road making it very slippery and ruining my car.
