This drain is blocked with debris - flooding risk

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14156468.

This drain is blocked with debris that has been washed down the road in the recent rain fall. Due to this the drain is not taking away the water - we live on the corner of Camp Lane, and our property is below road level so we have had to put sand bags at the top of the steps down to our property to prevent the water from flooding in. We also having issues with debris coming down the steps as well.

Please can arrangements be made to clear the drain as soon as possible to prevent flooding to our property.

  • Please can we have an update on who the assigned Highways Technician will be dealing with this as customer from No 40 had to dig up debris from the blocked drain to stop her property flooding for a second time.. there is 2 x recycling box full of debris, can we get these taken away also a look at the drains if they can be emptied.
