Blocked road drains and potential property flooding

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14156325.

The drains at the top of Houlston Lane have been completely blocked for over 6 months. All run-off now runs across the courtyard of buildings or down Houlston Lane. Our house (2 Houlston Lane) experienced flooding in 2000 as a result of similar circumstances. Please can the road drains at the top of Houlston Lane be unblocked as soon as possible to avoid flooding repitition. Thank you.

    Our priority is to be effective at responding to the most serious problems so at this time we are unable to provide an exact timescale.

    In the meantime until these works can be undertaken, we will continue to undertake routine inspections, whereby notifiable issues are recorded and scheduled for action.
