Sign pointing in the wrong direction

Reported via desktop in the Sign missing/defective category anonymously at 09:51, Monday 9 September 2024

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14154814.

The sign for Lydbury North Village Hall opposite the village school has been reported numerous times on Fix My Street and the sign has been turned to face the correct direction but always gets blown back to point in the wrong direction. I did receive a phone call from Alan Merrick some weeks ago and once again it was turned to point in the correct direction. Sadly this has not worked. Basically the sign is too high and catches the wind which turns it round. Is it possible for the sign to be properly repaired, lowered and fixed so that it cannot be moved otherwise it needs to be removed as it is causing confusion for visitors looking for the hall.
