Loose kerb outside no. 59 Ludlow Road .

This kerb has become loose recently and every time a vehicle drives over it the kerb is raised at one end.

    Can you explain why it has been necessary to inspect a Severn Trent repair twice following a water leak. On the second visit last week a white cross was sprayed on it (see second photograph). Today a team of contractors in two vehicles who had travelled from Stafford turned up to take a sample of the repair but knew nothing about the dropped kerb needing a repair. I have attached an updated photograph of the kerb as this has become a trip hazard for walkers, runners and cyclists because it is always sticking up at one end now. In addition the neighbouring kerbs are becoming loose due to water seeping underneath them. You said in September last year that you had arranged for the required work to take place. I would appreciate it if you could give me an update of when this will be rather than an update of when the work has been completed.

  • Please would you let me know when the required work to rectify this dropped kerb and the kerbs outside 69 and 83 Ludlow Road (which have also been reported to you recently) has been scheduled for? It is now almost 6 months since I was informed that it had been arranged.
