Large leaning tree close to footpath and boundary fencing/garage

Reported via mobile in the Tree problem on an open space category anonymously at 15:11, Monday 19 August 2024

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14153465.

The Scot's Pine identified forms part of a small clump of trees on the grass between the rear boundary fence of 12 Hunters Gate, Much Wenlock, and the path which runs between Barrow Street and the Primary School. As you will see from the photographs, it is leaning towards the rear boundary fence of No. 12 and should it fall at the angle at which it is leaning, it would then land on the fence and the garage of No. 20 Hunters Gate which protrudes into the garden of No. 12. During high winds, the tree sways significantly.
