Temporary traffic signals timing too short

Reported via desktop in the Temporary Traffic Light Fault category by Tim Limberger at 11:46, Tuesday 13 August 2024

Sent to Shropshire Council 1 minute later. Council ref: 14153096.

On three occasions whilst cycling out of Myddle towards Baschurch (most recently this morning), when the temporary lights go Green, they return to Red too quickly and prioritise traffic coming from the other direction, resulting in vehicles coming towards me before I have cycled through the single lane zone. This is dangerous for cyclists and would suggest to other road users that cyclists are not paying attention to the lights. It appears that cyclists are not being detected or accounted for in the timings.
