Multiple very deep potholes

The multiple very deep potholes in the road from Habberley, passed Eastridge Wood, to the private road up to Upper Vessons Farm (we live at Hillview which is next to Upper Vessons) is devaluing our house and preventing viewers from buying our house and land. We need to move urgently and this matter is becoming very upsetting. The private road is not brillant but the holes on the public road are getting worse every day. We would be most grateful if you could arrange to fill at least the worst dozen or so holes as soon as possible. Thank you

  • The issue you reported has been assessed and the necessary work will be included in our programme of upcoming maintenance.

    Our priority is to be effective at responding to the most serious problems so at this time we are unable to provide an exact timescale.

    In the meantime until these works can be undertaken, we will continue to undertake routine inspections, whereby notifiable issues are recorded and scheduled for action.
