Antisocial behaviour = Broken glass everywhere

Reported via mobile in the Other Highways issue category anonymously at 20:07, Monday 12 August 2024

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14153029.

Major broken glass problem around Mary Webb Road and the rest of the Meole estate including in the wooded area. All along the street from the children’s play area to the multiuse sports area, all in the grass, on the BMX area, in the children’s park, down all the paths and footpaths around the river is just disgusting amounts of littering, tossed drug paraphernalia and broken glass. A child has actually been injured in the play area today due to the broken glass everywhere. Council needs to sort this NOW, the park, BMX track and multi use have been covered in all this waste and hazardous materials for months, years even, and it’s only gotten worse with the rise in antisocial behaviour on the estate. Even on places like the green outside the maesbrook post office, just shattered glass, trash, needles and all sorts everywhere around the entire estate. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH, council needs an estate wide and surrounding areas clean urgently, it’s dangerous. Not to mention the kids that have been going around harassing people, keying cars, stealing tires. Nothing is being done.
