On Sat 3 Aug 2024, after Shifnal's Town's 3-0 FA Cup win against Belper, I cycled home along Coppice Green Lane only to have my left arm snagged on a protruding hedge bramble, directly abutting the road, causing an excessive wobble. This happened at about 5.10pm. A good job I did not fall off and I was wearing a jacket otherwise my arm could have been lacerated. My brother, who was following me, had the same experience. The hedge, as it stands, is dangerous to cyclists. It is on the opposite side to the pavement and needs cutting back along its whole length from Shifnal Primary and Idsall schools, Shifnal football Stadium and housing estate.
