Overgrown Hedgerow encroaching the carriageway

Reported via desktop in the Other Highways issue category anonymously at 15:22, Wed 7 August 2024

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14152689.

The hedgerows along Elm road have been neglected for over 12 months and are now in such poor maintenance that they are severely encroaching the carriageway. This is causing cars to swerve into oncoming traffic to avoid vegetation and is also causing damage to cars as branches are concealed within the vegetation and protruding into the carriageway. This hedgerow has previously been maintained and trimmed and cut every year by tractor, however this year there has been no maintenance at all. It wont be long before there is an accident.
